There are similar red/blue slate soils, but critically the sea breezes ensure that the grapes do not get so baked, resulting in intense but beautifully balanced wines

Oriol Guevara is a global winery advisor of 25 years winemaking experience and runs a consultancy in Barcleona called Abicon Wines. With a deep academic background from his studies in California, France and Barcelona, he has developed a succesful professional career in wineries from different parts of the globe, including USA, Australia, France and recently China.

Despite all this experience, his M-Wine allowed him total freedom almost for the first time and when the wine was bottled he called and said "I think this is the best wine I have ever made" and then immediately started thinking bout how he might have tried something different....
