“An apprenticeship in one wine”
When I came to work in Roussillon, I discovered the terroir of Vallee d'Agly which, to me, one of the best in south of France. At the same time you get thepower of wines of the south of France and complex aromas as if it was from a cold region. I was lucky to make wines from very different terroirs within the valley and learned winemaking and the terroirs in parallel. In many ways this combines all the learning of apprenticeship in one wine.
I like complex and
tannic wines with good length. Maybe they are not easy to drink for a beginner
but they can be discovered step by step. This blend is a perfect example.
