Dream Wines of Talented Winemakers
M-Wines is about letting talented people get on and do their own thing. We commission winemakers to make the wine of their choice, not ours. We release them with the winemakers name on the bottle and a biography telling their story in their words, not ours. We like to keep things a little exclusive and only release 1,000 individually numbered bottles of each wine, hence 'M' - the Roman numeral for 1,000
Guest Wines
Sometimes we meet winemakers who do have free reign to do their own thing, even if they are working at a winery. Michael Wood of Obsidian , Dean Shaw for Hawkshead, Piotr Nahajski for Chalkdown and Brothers Karl and Yann Todeschini of Magot have been allowed to do just that and the quality shows.
Wine Gifts
Finding a wine gift in the UK is easy, finding a very special one that is quite personal is a bit harder and we just may have it covered. All our gifts re sourced and commissioned by us, a bit like our wines really and most are unique in the UK.
Tastings & Events
An M-Wine tasting is an informative and entertaining wine tasting experience. Hosted by Philip Morton AIWS* founder of M-Wines, a trained teacher and graduate of the Wine and Spirits and Education Trust diploma. We always provide a Wine Geeks Corner topic to allow you to go away and show off a bit if you feel like it. We will also have guest M-Winemakers from time to time either by Skype or sometimes in person. Contact us here for Private Tastings and special requests.
