Elegant wine with Intense fruit from 100 year old Carignan (Samsó) vines.

—A century old vineyard offered the opportunity to show the fruit's adaptation through many generations.

" History brought to us La Francesa, a vineyard in the lieu-dit El Garrigal, a millennial winegrowing site that should be re-admitted among world class wines. The Romans knew this nearly 3,000 years ago." Oriol Guevara

Tasting Notes
Winemaker's Notes When serving temperature is slowly achieved at around 17c, The finesse of the nose is at its best brining up a mix of black fruit and violets. In the mouthfeel one can eventually also notice such aromas but merely receive the contradiction of a full-bodied powerful wine with grandiose smooth tannins in great balance with acidity and freshness.
